With Virgin Home Insurance comprehensive cover comes as standard. We offer:

Buildings insurance:

As well as covering the structure of your home and fixtures and fittings, our buildings insurance also covers the cost of things like architects, surveyors and builders if you have to rebuild your home due to an insured risk. You are automatically covered for up to £1 million building cover as standard (subject to eligibility) and the policy also covers your liability as a property owner up to a limit of £2 million.

Contents insurance:

This covers things like sofas and satellite dishes, wardrobes and washing machines – all the things you would pack up and take with you if you moved house: Cover for contents in the garden up to £1,000, music and video download protection up to £3,000 (just keep your receipts), and cover for your home office equipment up to £5,000.

The policy also includes added cover for your contents when you need it most: We’ll up your cover by 10% over Christmas and if someone in your house gets married we’ll give you an extra 10% cover for that too, four weeks before and after the big day, at no extra cost.

You can also add optional extras such as Personal Possessions, Accidental Damage Cover and Family Legal Protection.
