Kwik-Fit might be established as one of the leading automotive parts repair and replacement companies in the UK, but it is now becoming a powerful force in the world of insurance. Among its insurance products is home insurance (also known as ‘house insurance’ or ‘household insurance’).

There are a number of special offers available with Kwik-Fit home insurance. For example, if you take out a combined buildings and contents insurance policy you will receive a 15% discount.

Kwik-Fit offers both buildings and contents insurance individually and combined, with contents cover available on a ‘new-for-old’ basis – meaning that if something were damaged you would receive a brand new version, rather than a like-for-like return, though there is a reduction for wear and tear on certain items, such as clothing.

Its contents insurance policy will automatically cover you for up to £500 worth of freezer contents, up to £500 cover for contents in the garden and accidental damage cover for TVs, Hi-Fis and home computers. For those who take out Kwik-Fit buildings insurance there is replacement lock cover up to £500 if your keys are stolen. There are also additional options for accidental damage cover and personal possessions cover.
