Homeprotect home insurance is a brand of Web Money, previously known as New Home Insurance (NHI) that aims to provide a no-nonsense, straightforward way to cover what is, for most people, their most expensive possession. According to statistics on the Homeprotect website, its customers saved an average of more than £122 compared to their previous policy.
Both buildings insurance and contents insurance are available under the Homeprotect banner. The buildings insurance policy automatically provides protection against fire, lightning, storms and floods. It covers the structure of your home as well as outbuildings and includes swimming pools and tennis courts within the boundary of your home.
The Homeprotect contents insurance policy automatically incorporates accidental damage to TVs, videos, Hi-Fis and your home PC. There is also an automatic 10% increase in the contents sum insured for your wedding day and over the Christmas period, as well as student possessions cover up to £2,500 during term time.
With a Homeprotect home insurance policy you can also take out optional extensions including family legal protection up to £50,000 and home emergency cover which gives protection in case of leaking pipes and more.
