Endsleigh is an independent intermediary specialising in insurance and financial products. It formed a strategic alliance with Zurich Financial Services in 2002 and in January 2007 Zurich became its parent company, acquiring a 100% shareholding in the company.
Among its range of services, Endsleigh offers home insurance (also known as ‘house insurance’ or ‘household insurance’) with buildings and contents insurance coming from a panel of more than 30 leading UK home insurance providers.
Included in the range of home insurance cover options available from Endsleigh are separate policies for people who own their homes and those who live in rented accommodation. If you own a property you can secure extra all-risk cover and receive assistance from a 24hr helpline. Those that rent have access to possessions protection ranging from £3,000-£40,000 and cover for up to six people sharing a flat or house.
The company is also able to offer a range of additional services to suit individual needs. These include landlord home insurance, which can incorporate home emergency cover and has an extensive list of benefits. Furthermore, Endsleigh also offers student possessions insurance, which has a number of cover options specifically designed for their needs and is recommended by the National Union of Students. University-goers can build their own policies to cover anything from computers and laptops to TVs, MP3 players and mobile phones.
