The company's buildings insurance cover includes protection against subsidence; damage caused by falling trees. Cover includes as standard property owner's liability, cover during a property sale and alternative accommodation if your home is made uninhabitable up to the lower of £15,000 or 20% of the building sum insured.
Budget's contents insurance incorporates freezer contents up to a maximum £500, guest's property up to £500, replacement locks and keys cover of £250, public liability up to £2m and cover for personal documents and title deeds up to £250.
There are also additional products available including legal protection, personal possessions cover, home assistance (also known as home emergency cover) and personal accident cover that are competitively priced.
