Peoples Choice began operating in December 1998 selling car insurance (also known as ‘Peoples Choice motor insurance’) and home insurance. It is a division of Hastings Insurance Limited and will search 21 leading UK car insurance companies and more than 30 products to find the cheapest car insurance quote available for you.

Among the businesses Peoples Choice will search for car insurance quotes on your behalf are AXA car insurance, Broker Direct car insurance, Equity Red Star car insurance, Highway car insurance, MMA car insurance, Sabre car insurance and Zenith car insurance. You will need details of the make and model of your car along with the year that it was registered to ensure you get the best car insurance price available.

One of the notable features of Peoples Choice car insurance is the protected no-claims discount which is available for an extra charge. This allows you to make a claim without losing the discount that you have already built up – and might be available to you whether you have full no-claims or not.

The company also offers motorcycle insurance and van insurance. Additionally it has two levels of breakdown cover - premium and VIP cover. The VIP cover includes a courtesy car and continuation of journey costs cover. It offers legal protection up to £50,000 and windscreen cover as optional extras.
