Peoples Choice car insurance

Peoples Choice began operating in December 1998 selling car insurance (also known as ‘Peoples Choice motor insurance’) and home insurance. It is a division of Hastings Insurance Limited and its car insurance product is provided by Hastings Direct.

According to research conducted by Consumer Intelligence during February 2008, 10 per cent of customers could save £176 by moving their car insurance to Hastings Direct. On behalf of Peoples Choice, Hastings Direct uses a panel of leading UK car insurers to search for a competitive quote.

There are also several benefits to its car insurance policy including a potential no-claims discount in the region of 70 per cent depending on the number of years you have been claims free.

Furthermore, a free courtesy car is supplied if you suffer an accident and your car is being repaired by an approved repairer. Hastings Direct car insurance also offers additional products such as legal protection and breakdown cover which can be added on to your policy.
