Lloyds Bank Group merged with TSB Group to form Lloyds TSB Group plc in late 1995, one of the largest forces in domestic banking. The provider now offers a wide range of services including a comprehensive car insurance (also known as ‘Lloyds TSB motor insurance’) package.
The company’s car insurance policies come with a number of incentives. There is a 10 per cent discount when you buy online and you can also save 10 per cent every time you renew with Lloyds TSB – meaning it pays to be loyal. In addition, for new customers, Lloyds TSB car insurance claims it will beat your renewal quote and if it can’t then if you move to it for like-to-like cover it will refund the difference up to £80 and give you £20 cash back.
There are numerous features and benefits available including a no-claims bonus of up to 65 per cent for five years of no-claims (70 per cent for people aged over 50) and discounted Greenflag Motoring Assistance Cover, with five levels of cover to choose from. If your car is written off in an accident and is less than 12 months old, Lloyds TSB car insurance will give you a brand new car.
There are numerous additional benefits available with a standard Lloyds TSB comprehensive car insurance policy including 90 days European cover, a courtesy car while yours is repaired by an approved repairer and overnight accommodation if you are stranded after an accident.
