The Fresh Insurance Group, which incorporates Ladybird insurance, was established in 2002 as a specialist insurance intermediary. Ladybird car insurance (also known as ‘Ladybird motor insurance’) is the company’s award winning insurance service designed solely for women.

The company won the personal lines broker of the year award at the 2005 Insurance Times Awards. There are many advantages to a Ladybird car insurance policy including a host of discounts. For example, Ladybird offers the maximum introductory discount for first time insurers and will give you discounts if you have secured a Pass Plus.

Other features of a Ladybird car insurance policy are a low mileage discount and a courtesy car – terms and conditions apply. There are also flexible payment options and you can choose to pay monthly if you prefer.

In addition, there are three Ladybird car insurance ‘benefits’ available – platinum, platinum plus and legal expenses cover. The platinum policy incorporates UK road assistance and home cover, while platinum plus has all the features of platinum with additional European cover. The legal expenses option incorporates a full advisory service for small claims court cases.
