easyMoney Car Insurance
Updated: Periodically. Details correct at the time of publication – May, 2007.
easyMoney is part of the easyGroup formed in 1998 following the success of the easyJet low-cost airline established in 1995. Since then the group has expanded rapidly and in 2005 began to offer low-cost UK car insurance (also known as ‘easyMoney motor insurance’).
The easyMoney car insurance service describes itself as ‘cheap, simple and no frills’. It is built on the success of the easyJet brand – with the idea being that just as easyJet offers few frills but cheap flights, easyMoney car insurance works in a similar way by limiting its cover options to what you really ‘need’. Nevertheless, there are still a range of benefits available to third party, fire and theft and comprehensive cover consumers.
The company’s comprehensive car insurance includes up to 65 per cent no-claims discount, with the option for protected no-claims discount after five years, repairs guaranteed by the authorised repairers for three years, a discount from easyCar car rental if your vehicle is being repaired and accidental damage cover.
As an additional option, you can bolster the standard of car insurance cover you receive with up to £50,000 of legal expenses to help you recover uninsured losses. Furthermore, there are a number of payment methods, including direct debit, and you can receive professional advice 24hrs/day on a national rate phone number.
