Updated: Periodically. Details correct at the time of publication – December, 2008.
Auto Trader magazine was the first Trader Media Group title to come to market and it is firmly established as the company’s trademark publication. In 1996 it expanded its services with the formation of the Auto Trader website and has since begun offering its own range of Auto Trader branded products including car insurance (also known as ‘Auto Trader motor insurance’).
The company actually works as a car insurance broker, comparing rates from many of the UK’s leading car insurance providers including Admiral car insurance, AXA car insurance, Diamond car insurance and Zurich car insurance. In total it will compare more than 300 prices in less than four minutes.
Auto Trader car insurance also includes a number of unique benefits via its own policy. These include 30 days protection from unexpected mechanical failure when you purchase its policy, 60 days EU cover and a courtesy car subject to availability.
In addition, Auto Trader offers a number of other insurance products including personal injury claims, no win, no fee; convicted driver insurance; motortrade insurance; GAP insurance and breakdown insurance.
