What does V4 Consumer broadband offer?

  • Full fibre broadband

V4 Consumer offers Full Fibre broadband in eligible areas, with fibre-optic cable running directly to the property.

Its current Full Fibre range includes a choice of speeds aimed at different household sizes and levels of internet use. The exact packages available depend on your address.

  • Part-fibre broadband

Where Full Fibre is not available, V4 Consumer may also offer part-fibre broadband such as SoGEA. This uses fibre to the local cabinet and copper for the final connection into the property.

These packages can provide a useful alternative for households that cannot yet get a Full Fibre service.

  • Router and WiFi

Selected V4 Consumer broadband packages include a WiFi 6 router, while WiFi extenders and other equipment may also be available.

Check the individual deal details to see exactly which equipment is included and whether any additional charges apply.

What V4 Consumer broadband speeds can I get?

V4 Consumer offers broadband across a wide range of speeds, depending on the network and packages available at your address.

  • 40–80Mbps

Suitable for everyday browsing, streaming, video calls and working from home in smaller or moderately connected households.

  • 100–200Mbps

A good choice for households with several people streaming, gaming and using connected devices at the same time.

  • 300–500Mbps

Suitable for busier homes with heavy streaming, large downloads, gaming and multiple simultaneous users.

  • Faster full fibre

V4 Consumer also offers faster Full Fibre packages in eligible areas. Its fastest available products are designed for households with very high internet use, lots of connected devices and frequent large downloads.

Broadband, phone and mobile

V4 Consumer offers more than broadband alone. Depending on the package, you may be able to add phone services, while V4 also offers SIM-only mobile plans.

Additional services can change your contract and monthly cost, so check the full terms before adding them to your broadband package.

Does V4 Consumer include a home phone?

Home phone services are available with V4 Consumer, although they are not required with every broadband package.

The exact phone package and any associated charges depend on the broadband service you choose, so check the deal details before signing up.

Does V4 Consumer increase its prices during the contract?

Some V4 Consumer broadband deals may include a scheduled annual price increase during the minimum contract term.

Check the individual deal details to see whether your monthly price will change, how much the increase will be and when it applies.

Does V4 Consumer charge for installation?

Installation and activation charges can vary between V4 Consumer packages. Check the deal details before ordering to see whether any upfront charges apply.

About our broadband comparison tool

Who we compare

We compare broadband deals from providers who take part in our comparison service.

This means the results may not include every broadband provider in the UK, every package from each provider, or every deal available directly from a provider.

Before you apply, it is worth checking whether the deal meets your needs and whether any other offers are available elsewhere.

How deals are updated

Broadband deal information is provided to us through supplier feeds and provider data.

We refresh deal information regularly so that prices, speeds, offers and availability are kept as up to date as possible.

Deals can change or be withdrawn by providers, so you should always check the final price, offer details and provider terms before applying.

Why we ask for your address

Broadband availability can vary depending on where you live.

Your address or postcode helps us check which broadband deals are more likely to be available at your property. Availability can depend on things like network coverage, local infrastructure, line availability, property type and installation requirements.

The results are based on the information available at the time you search. Final availability is confirmed by the provider when you apply.

How average monthly cost is calculated

Average monthly cost is intended to help you compare deals more easily by showing the estimated monthly cost over the contract term.

It may include the monthly price, contract length, upfront or setup fees, discounts and selected rewards where these can be included in the calculation.

Some rewards or incentives may be shown separately and may depend on eligibility, redemption steps or provider terms.

The average monthly cost is a comparison figure. Your actual payments may differ, especially if prices change during the contract or if you add extras.

New customers only

Most deals shown are for new customers unless stated otherwise.

If you are already with a provider, you may not be eligible for the same deal. Existing customers may need to contact their current provider directly to discuss renewal, upgrade or retention offers.

How deals are ranked

Ranking may take account of factors such as availability, price, speed, contract length, features, rewards, special offers and commercial arrangements.

You may be able to change the sort order or filter results to focus on what matters most to you, such as price, speed or contract length.

Featured deals and sponsored placements

A “featured deal” is a deal that is highlighted in the comparison results.

Featured deals may be paid placements, sponsored promotions or deals that are commercially agreed with MoneySuperMarket.

A featured deal is not necessarily the cheapest deal or the best deal for every customer. You should compare the full deal details before applying.

Special offers

A “special offer” means a deal includes an incentive or promotion.

This could include things like a limited-time monthly price, voucher, cashback, bill credit, reward card, free setup, free installation or another benefit.

Special offers may have separate terms, eligibility rules, claim steps and end dates. You should check the provider’s terms before applying.

Things to check before applying

Before choosing a broadband deal, check:

  • The final monthly price

  • The contract length

  • Any setup, delivery or upfront fees

  • The estimated speed

  • Any annual price rises

  • Cancellation or early exit fees

  • Whether you are eligible for rewards or special offers

  • How and when any reward is claimed

  • The expected installation date

  • The provider’s terms and conditions

Broadband prices, availability and offers can change. The provider will confirm the final deal details before your application is completed.
