The amount you pay remains the same throughout the term. The Legal & General mortgage life insurance option is designed to help pay off your mortgage if you die during the policy term and decreases in line with your remaining mortgage debt. The policy also includes terminal illness cover at no extra cost, ensuring financial security for your dependents and loved ones.

As additional options, Legal & General offers both critical illness cover and waiver of payment. The critical illness policy pays out a lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of the specified illnesses or disabilities and cover for your children is included at no extra charge. The waiver of payment option means that premiums are waived if you suffer an accident or illness that prevents you from working for more than six months.
