What’s included with Sky Gigafast broadband?
Sky Gigafast comes with the impressive Sky Broadband Hub. This is identical to the router you get with Sky Superfast and Sky Ultrafast. It features smart channel selection, four gigabit ethernet ports and eight antennae and can connect up to 64 devices at once. Ideal for smart home fans.
Sky’s Wall to Wall Wi-Fi Guarantee comes as standard, as well as a speed guarantee.
For an extra fee, you can also get Sky Broadband Boost, giving you evening and weekend engineer call outs, as well as the Sky’s Broadband Buddy app. This comes with screen limits and filters designed for parents.
Where is Sky Gigafast available?
Sky Gigafast is currently available to around a quarter of UK homes. This is largely centred on major cities and towns, meaning if you live in a rural area you may not be able to get Sky’s fastest broadband package.
But don’t worry – there’s still a very good chance you can get Sky Broadband, including Sky Superfast.

Do I need a phone line for Sky Gigafast?
No – but Sky Gigafast does come with a phone line, with pay-as-you-go calls as standard.
Like Sky Ultrafast though, calls are made over the internet, because it’s an FTTP service. That means you don’t need a phone line, as you plug your home phone into the router. If you have poor mobile signal at home, it’s a good idea to keep a standard phone line in case of emergencies.
