In a nutshell, you’ll be able to watch free, on-demand streaming services like BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All 4 through the Apple TV 4K set top box.

Moreover, you’ll be able to access your Netflix or Amazon Prime account via the Apple set top box, too. Keep in mind that to watch these services, you’ll already need to be a paying customer.

Lastly, for sports fans, there’s also the option to add TNT Sports (via the discovery+ app) to watch Premier League football, the UEFA Champions League, Gallagher Premiership rugby, UFC, WWE and more.

What are the alternatives to EE TV?

If TV is particularly important to you, you’ll get far more channels and oodles more choice from the likes of Virgin Media and Sky. But expect to pay more.

Conversely, if you tend to stream shows rather than watch them on live TV, EE broadband and TV works out cheaper than the likes of Virgin Media and Sky.

The only major exception is if you’re switching from Virgin Media, in which case you’ll also need to get in touch with Virgin Media to tell them you’d like to cancel.

Keep in mind this only covers broadband; if you want to cancel your TV package and go with EE, you’ll need to contact your current provider to cancel your services.
