Now, though, EE broadband customers get an Apple TV 4K set top box to go with their internet, which means access to free, on-demand services, plus premium television shows on Apple TV.

You can watch Netflix and Amazon Prime too if you’re already paying for a subscription, and get BT Sport with the BT Sport Ultimate add-on for £5 per month.

In a nutshell, you’ll be able to watch free, on-demand streaming services like BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All 4 through the Apple TV 4K set top box.

Moreover, you’ll be able to access your Netflix or Amazon Prime account via the Apple set top box, too. Keep in mind that to watch these services, you’ll already need to be a paying customer.

Lastly, for sports fans, there’s also the option to add BT to Sport to watch Premier League football, the UEFA Champions League, Gallagher Premiership rugby, UFC, WWE and more.

What are the alternatives to EE TV?

If TV is particularly important to you, you’ll get far more channels and oodles more choice from the likes of Virgin Media and Sky. But expect to pay more.

Conversely, if you tend to stream shows rather than watch them on live TV, EE broadband and TV works out cheaper than the likes of Virgin Media and Sky.

The only major exception is if you’re switching from Virgin Media, in which case you’ll also need to get in touch with Virgin Media to tell them you’d like to cancel.

Can I watch Netflix on EE?

Absolutely. As long as you’re subscribed to Netflix already, you’ll be able to access shows through your Apple TV box.
