Additional Terms and Conditions for Savings by MoneySuperMarket

These terms apply alongside the Terms and Conditions for our App which can be found here and the SuperSaveClub Terms and Conditions which can be accessed here.

1. About Us

Savings by MoneySuperMarket is provided by MoneySuperMarket.com Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England and Wales under company number 03945937, with our registered office at Mony Group House, St David's Park, Ewloe, Chester, CH5 3UZ. Our VAT number is GB 741905338.

2. Bondsmith

2.1 The savings accounts themselves and all related services (including account opening, holding funds, and interest payments) are provided by Bondsmith Savings Ltd (company number 13223331) and Bondsmith Savings Nominees Ltd (company number 13480386) (together referred to as "Bondsmith"). Bondsmith provides these services under its own Terms and Conditions which can be accessed here.

2.2 Bondsmith works with a third-party deposit taker to provide the actual deposit-taking service. This element of the service is also governed by Bondsmith’s Terms and Conditions.

3. Savings by MoneySuperMarket

3.1 Through the MoneySuperMarket app, we provide you with access to the Bondsmith platform– this will be the only way to access the savings accounts.

3.2 We do not provide regulated financial services, hold your money, or manage your account. All savings services (other than customer services; please see paragraph 6.1 below) are provided by Bondsmith, and its terms and conditions apply to your account. We recommend that you read and understand these terms and conditions,

3.3 Please note that we are not a party to any of your transactions with Bondsmith (or any of their third party providers including but not limited to any deposit takers) and we do not endorse any of the goods or services that they make available to you. We do not have any of the legal obligations that apply to the sellers or providers of those goods or services and are not responsible for them.

4. Fees and Charges

4.1 We do not charge you for using Savings by MoneySuperMarket.

4.2 Bondsmith may charge fees in accordance with its terms and conditions.

4.3 Savings by MoneySuperMarket does not charge you any fees. MoneySuperMarket makes money by receiving fees from Bondsmith. These are taken into account before a product appears on Savings by MoneySuperMarket and doesn't influence the rates displayed. So the rate you see is exactly what you’ll get.

5. Our Responsibilities

5.1 We are responsible only for providing access to Bondsmith platform and for acting as the point of contact for any queries or complaints relating to Savings by MoneySuperMarket and/or Bondsmith's services. Please note that all queries with regard to Savings by MoneySuperMarket should be directed to us and that we will liaise with Bondsmith as necessary.

5.2 We are not liable for any services provided by Bondsmith or any third party provider used by Bondsmith, including account management, interest payments, or withdrawals.

6. Your information

6.1 During sign-up, we collect certain personal information from you (such as identity and contact details). Further information about how we use your personal data and your rights can be found in our privacy policy located here.

6.2 This information is provided to Bondsmith so that Bondsmith can carry out its own checks and decide whether to open your account.

6.3 We do not perform know-your-customer checks and we do not make any decisions about account approval – these decisions are taken by Bondsmith but may be based on information about you that we provide to Bondsmith.

7. Service Changes

7.1 We may withdraw or temporarily suspend Savings by MoneySuperMarket if we have a valid reason, such as:

  • technical issues;

  • security concerns (including suspected fraud); or

  • changes in law or regulation.

7.2 Where possible, we will give you reasonable notice before doing so. Please note that we do not guarantee that either the app or Savings by MoneySuperMarket will always be available or free from interruptions..

7.3 If Savings by MoneySuperMarket is withdrawn, you may not be able to access your savings accounts..

8. Complaints

8.1 Please contact us via our contact form which can be accessed here. Please note that all communications (including formal notices) sent in accordance with these terms must be sent by email. Important: You must ensure that the email address we hold for you is kept up-to-date and that you have full access to it - we will be sending you important messages there. If you change email address, then you must change the address we hold for you on your account.

9. General

9.1 We may update these Additional Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice.”

9.2 “These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales"
