Dr Lauren Chong BSc BVSc PgCertVBM MRCVS is MoneySuperMarket’s pet expert with an extensive background of working across the veterinary and pet care industry for the past 12 years.

She qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2012, worked in clinical practice in both South Africa and the UK, and has a breadth of experience working with veterinary practices, and supporting and advising a variety of pet products and services across the UK and Europe.

Lauren's Experience

Before joining MoneySuperMarket at the beginning of 2024, Lauren enjoyed a diverse career in the animal health sector. With her degrees in Veterinary Biology and Veterinary Science, she has had the opportunity to work with pets and pet parents as both a GP vet and behind-the-scenes business support.
