Is bOnline business broadband any good?

bOnline business broadband is among the very best around, especially for small and medium sized enterprises.

It offers a great range of speeds, from simple ADSL packages through to lightning fast full fibre and its prices won’t eat into your bottom line either.

Throw in impressive customer service ratings and extras including its excellent VOIP service and you’ve got all the makings of a brilliant alternative to the likes of BT and TalkTalk.

You can also take advantage of its domains and email services to give your business an all round IT package that’s hard to beat.

New customers only

*This is the maximum possible speed. Broadband speed may be lower at peak times and can be affected by a range of technical and environmental factors. The speed you receive where you live may be lower than that listed above. Fibre/cable services at your postcode are subject to availability. You can confirm availability on the provider's website. Providers may increase charges. You should have the right to exit your contract without penalty if this happens.

bOnline broadband speeds

bOnline broadband is available at a number of speeds, ranging from a basic ADSL deal through to a 1,000Mbps package for those in need of the very fastest speeds around. Packages come in as follows:

Unlimited business broadband

This tops out at 24Mbps, using copper infrastructure. Fine for small businesses and one man bands.

Unlimited business fibre

With speeds of 76Mbps, this service completes the journey to your business using copper wiring, but still offers decent, nippy access.

Unlimited fibre

bOnline broadband’s unlimited fibre is available in four different speeds: 160Mbps, 330Mbps, 550Mbps and 1GB.

Each of these use FTTP (fibre to the premises) so you’ll need to be based in an area with the correct infrastructure to take advantage. Use our postcode checker to see if you can get it.

bOnline Fibre review

bOnline broadband has massively upped its fibre game and most of its packages use the latest tech to get your workplace connected.

Its Unlimited business fibre offering clocks in at 76Mbps and uses copper wiring to finish the journey into your property.

These speeds are fine for basic tasks, but if you have a growing workforce, you may wish to look at bOnline’s unlimited fibre packages.

The speeds for these are first rate, with 160Mbps, 330Mbps, 550Mbps and 1GB available to those who are in areas with FTTP installed.

Not only will the speeds future proof your business, the low price and 12 month contract option will help keep overheads down too.

bOnline VOIP review

bOnline’s main business, before it became a broadband provider, was offering VOIP services to businesses.

These are still available and offer a great, affordable way to install a digital phone line at your business.

There are a range of packages to choose from, with the basic service starting at just £6 per month plus VAT. Its top end Unlimited Calling deal includes a desk phone and costs just £15 plus VAT per user.

The latter is great if your enterprise is growing and you need to ensure easy access for customers.

Going with a VOIP calling system provides greater stability and means you can bundle broadband as well in order to save money.

bOnline pricing

bOnline pricing is very competitive. At the time of writing, its packages cost as follows.

Unlimited business broadband

  • £17.95 per month plus VAT for 12 months

Unlimited business fibre

  • £26.95 per month plus VAT for 12 months

How does bOnline compare against other providers?

bOnline vs TalkTalk

TalkTalk has a range of similar speeds and also offers dynamic and static IP address options. As with its consumer deals, its prices are very competitive, especially its full fibre deals, which at the time of writing are free for the first three months as part of a two year deal.

bOnline vs BT business broadband

Being the UK’s biggest broadband provider means BT can offer a serious business package. It has particularly good full fibre services, including its excellent Halo setup. Costs are broadly similar to bOnline, however.
