There are four types of pet insurance available to you

Number one, lifetime coverage. This covers injuries and illnesses without any time restriction per condition.

Number two, time limited. This is where there is a fixed amount that you can claim for treatment per condition, often with a time restriction. This is typically set at 12 months

Number three, maximum benefit. This is also called per condition and this is where you can claim for each illness or injury up to a certain financial amount

Number four, accident only. So this is designed to assist with expenses if your pet is involved in an accident. But this doesn't cover illness or injury.
