Other ways to contact your network
In the event that customer support helplines are too busy, you may want to use your network's live chat service instead.
Almost all mobile phone networks operate one one and all you need to do is head to their website. Thereafter, more often than not a pop-up window will appear asking if you need more help.
That's your chance to explain your problem to a member of the customer service team.
If a pop-up window doesn't appear automatically, you can usually bring up the live chat service by clicking on the 'contact us' part of the site.
You may also want to get in touch with your network on Twitter. Response times for queries posted on the social media service are often much faster than making a call to customer support.
Do I need to contact your network when switching network?
No, the good news is that the switching and number-transfer process has been changed.
And the biggest improvement is that you no longer have to get in touch with the network you're leaving when you want to switch to a new one. That goes even when you want to take your existing phone number with you.
