This means that annual multi trip policies bought after this date will not cover you for trips which start before 17th April 2020.

Annual Multi Trip policies cover you for 12 months from the start date of the policy. There's no cover for cancellation until the policy start date. If you need cancellation cover, you should consider starting the policy straight away.

Single Trip policies cover you for cancellation from the day you buy your policy, regardless of the date you travel.

Your medical history
Do any of these travellers have a pre-existing medical condition?
Do any of these travellers have a pre-existing condition? To make sure that you’ve got the right insurance for your trip, we need to know about the medical history of everyone on the policy. You’ll need to mention conditions like diabetes, depression, high blood pressure or asthma, and we’ll ask for more details about them later. If you have a problem with something you didn’t declare, your policy could become invalid and you might not be able to claim for it.
To help us find the right cover for your trip, it is important you tell us about your medical history. If you don’t declare medical conditions, it could invalidate your policy.

Did you know... if you or a member of your family/group have a pre-existing medical condition, it may be a good idea that everyone travelling is covered under the one policy. This way, if the trip needs to be called-off due to a medical condition, everyone will be covered for the cancellation.

Did you know... one of the main reasons a claim could be declined is for non disclosed medical conditions. It's important you check with all travellers to make sure the cover is right for you.
