Changing energy provider and changing from a prepayment meter to a credit meter are two separate processes.
Here are two ways to go about changing your tariff and your meter.
You can contact your current supplier to remove the prepayment meter- there may be costs involved, so always check with your supplier.
Once you’ve got a credit meter in place, you can then run a comparison and switch to a new tariff, through our site.
Alternatively, you can switch to a different pre-payment tariff with a new supplier. Then ask the new supplier to remove your pre-payment meter and put you on to a credit tariff.
