Arm yourself with your most recent energy bill if you can, but don't worry if you don't have one to hand!

If you have your bill, you can provide actual energy usage, but don’t worry if you don’t as we can still give you an estimate using our questions.
Add in your email address so that you can save your quote and come back another day to complete your switch. The whole thing should take you no more than 5 minutes.
Once you have your results you can make an informed choice about which energy supplier is best for you.

Before you put your feet up and relax, your new energy provider will write to you and tell you of your switch date, you will then be asked for a meter reading so your old provider can send you a final bill and your new provider knows when to charge from.
And that’s it! Your part of the switch is complete; you can now put your feet up and let your old energy supplier and new supplier sort everything else out between them.
The whole process should take around 17 days and there will be no interruption to your gas or electricity supply. No new pipes, no digging or drilling; just cheaper energy!
