That’s why we’ve come up with a quick and easy-to-use widget that will ensure you’ll never miss a winning sporting moment again.
How it works
Our unique Sports Selector Tool allows you to choose which events you want to watch in the coming months. These are separated into categories such as cricket, football, rugby and golf.
You’ll then be able to see whether your chosen events are available on Freeview or a paid-for TV channel, such as BT Sports or Sky Sports.
Based on your event selections, our nifty tool will list a range of different TV packages to make it easy to select the deal that best matches your requirements, as well as your budget.
It’s worth playing around with the results as adding or removing sporting events will affect the price of the TV packages in front of you.
If your chosen events are not being shown on Sky or BT, your TV package will be cheaper.
Why it’s time to switch
With August highlights including the Football Premier League and the PGA Golf Championships, and September bringing the likes of the Rugby World Cup and the Singapore F1 Grand Prix to our screens, there’s never been a better time to check whether you’re getting the best possible TV deal.
Dan Plant, MoneySuperMarket’s consumer expert, said: “With the new Premier League season kicking off on August 8, and huge changes in the sport-on-TV landscape, many football fans will be looking to score a new TV package in preparation for the season ahead.
“Sky used to be the stand out leader in televised sport, but is now being challenged hard by BT Sport especially when it comes to football. This season the channel will expand its offering by exclusively broadcasting all UEFA Champions League games which, for the first time ever, won’t be available to view on terrestrial TV.
“Not only is there so much to choose from, but due to BT’s acquisition of all Champions League matches and some Premier League games it could mean your current package is no longer the right deal for you.”
So why not head over to our new Sports Selector Tool and tailor your TV package to include all your favourite sporting events?
