Looking for an extreme Easter?

Are you planning an action-packed Easter? Why not have a go at Europe’s longest and fastest zip wire? Our travel expert, Bob Atkinson, went to Zip World in Bethesda, North Wales to try out this adrenalin-fuelled tourist attraction...

Welcome to Bethesda, the location of a brand new, exhilarating attraction, Zipworld, which is Europe’s longest zip wire.

As TravelSuperMarkets travel expert, it’s my job to inspire you to get out and about, and enjoy big days out or longer breaks.

So let’s get out here in North Wales and see what the attraction has to offer.

You need to be kitted out in your flying suit, and briefed as well for safety purposes before the adventure begins…

As you can see, you start off on the little zip wire before being taken up in a special vehicle through this old quarry and being told all about its history before finally reaching the beast; a one mile long zip wire 700 feet above a lake travelling at up to 80mph.

For anyone who’s looking for a brilliant day out, if you’re in the North Wales area, you really need to get down here to Zipworld.

It’s a fantastic attraction, suitable for all of the family, and you too can come and fly through the air like superman.

Go do it! The whole experience takes around 3 hours from beginning to end and I’ve got to say I’ve enjoyed every single second of it.

So if you want to come and fly like superman though the air on Europes longest zip wire, get up here to Bethesda.

You can do it as a day out from the North West, or come and enjoy a short break and enjoy more of Snowdonia’s national park while you’re here.
