Zurich Insurance plc has been providing customers with quality products for over 80 years. Today, through their expertise, Zurich are able to offer you their 5-star Defaqto rated Car Solutions policy which comes with a long list of inclusive benefits, many of which other insurers charge you extra for, or simply don't offer at all.

As well as a courtesy car and 24 hour roadside assistance with Green Flag, Solutions Car Insurance also provides 60 days' complimentary cover while driving in Europe. And what's more, if you have four or more years No Claims Bonus then you have the option to protect it.

As well as offering 5-star cover, Zurich also look to provide peace of mind in a hassle-free way - for example, all comprehensive insurance repairs are paid for directly by Zurich when you use their approved repairers.

I have just had my renewal off Zurich, which is up by approx 60%.
I have been with them for several years without making any claims or changes in cover.
When I phoned to find out the reason for the increase I was told "thats the price"
They got back to me and reduced the quote by 5%.
My husbands car is also insured with them ,but as with me ,for the last time!
Customer services? A JOKE!

This insurance company is an absolute nightmare.
Calls are premium rate 0870 took 45 minutes one day to get through.
You get India every time which is a waste of time as apart from basic queries they cannot help you.
This company never calls you to update you regarding claims.
Written correspondence is also very basic and you have to call to get clarification on that

My partner was insured through Zurich. His car was stolen 2 yrs ago and only just getting it settled. They never call, you have to call their premium rate number constantly, and you still get no answers. They claimed never to receive police reports and other statements that were all sent recorded delivery and twice even tried to deny all knowledge of the claim. Eventually they accused us of staging the incident and stealing our own car. All managers are conveniently always in meetings, even for the Financial Ombudsman that we got involved. After sending an RGI investigator round they claimed to have sent correspondance but had the wrong address (how did they send an investigator to our house then?) They are now settling the claim, but no apologies have ever been given.Awful.

I've been with Zurich for a few years, but have just changed car and needed a faxed cover note or certificate to get road tax. The PO will accept a faxed copy of a cover note or insurance certificate. After 7 calls over 2 days to Zurich (each with a growing number of security check questions) they were unable to provide a faxed copy of either of these, instead sending what they say is their standard and only fax document which is not acceptable by the PO. I just don't get it.
