*Average speeds are based on the download speeds of at least 50% of customers at peak time (8pm to 10pm). Speed can be affected by a range of technical and environmental factors. The speed you receive where you live may be lower than that listed above. You can check the estimated speed to your property prior to purchasing.

Fibre/cable services at your postcode are subject to availability. You can confirm availability on the provider's website.

Providers may increase charges. You should have the right to exit your contract without penalty if this happens.

Thinking about taking G.Network Broadband? Here’s what’s on offer and what you need to know.

G.Network focuses on providing London with speedy 100% full fibre broadband. It’s currently expanding its network across the city, bringing cutting-edge broadband to many locations where a full fibre service was previously unavailable.

There’s not much in terms of additional services and add-ons, like TV subscriptions and home phones. Instead, its straightforward plans are all about ultrafast speeds for pretty reasonable prices.

Why choose G.Network broadband?

G.Network’s full fibre connection offers much faster speeds than traditional copper cables and hybrid fibre packages.

All packages come with a Nokia home router to maximise your internet coverage.

And with plans starting at £22 a month at the time of writing (January 2022), it’s competitively priced for the speeds you get.

Not to mention, it’s completely free to install your home broadband – unlike with many other providers, you won’t face any one-off setup costs.

Our best G.Network deals

What are G.Network’s bundles?

At the time of writing (January 2022), G.Network offers four ultrafast broadband plans, ranging from download speeds of 150Mbps to a lightning fast 900Mbps. All plans come with a free Nokia Wi-Fi router.

You can buy each plan on a one-year or two-year contract basis. As expected, the longer the contract, the lower the cost per month.

More uniquely, you can also buy each plan on a monthly rolling basis. Most providers typically only offer long-term contracts. So, the option to buy your broadband every month is great if you’re living somewhere temporarily, or you simply prefer the flexibility of not being tied to a one- or two-year contract.

G.Network keeps its plans simple – other than your internet connection and router, you won’t have to think about bundling with additional services.

What G.Network Call packages are available?

G.Network doesn’t offer any call packages, as it doesn’t use a landline to deliver your internet connection.

So, if you want to bundle your broadband with a home phone, you’ll need to check out other providers. Visit our webpage for more on broadband and home phone deals.

Can I get G.Network broadband deals in my area?

G.Network is only available in London. Right now, it’s rolling out its service across the city – run your address through its postcode checker to see if you can get it in your area.

G.Network broadband deals for new customers

Like with all other providers, the best deals are usually reserved for new customers only.

For example, at the time of writing (January 2022), new customers can get six months’ free with any one- or two-year contract.

Plus, if you’re not satisfied with your internet, its three-month guarantee means you can leave your contract within the first three months without incurring any early exit fees.

G.Network broadband setup

As G.Network operates its own network that’s entirely independent of existing Openreach broadband infrastructure, it’ll need to install new cables in your house.

After you’ve signed up to G.Network, either online or by phone, it’ll contact you within 48 working hours to book an initial survey. If you’re renting, it may need to contact your landlord to get permission.

Once it’s been approved, G.Network will go ahead with installing and setting up your new broadband service.

So, although it’ll take longer to set up your G.Network home broadband than with most providers, it should still be a fairly straightforward process. What’s more, there aren’t any one-off setup charges.

G.Network broadband customer service

Being a smaller, newer provider, G.Network’s customer service isn’t as extensive as some of the household-name providers.

For general enquiries, call its helpline on 0203 909 4555. Lines are open 8:45am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, although they’re closed on weekends.

If you need technical support with your broadband, there isn’t currently a way to get direct help. You can only get in touch via email. It’s open 8am – 6pm on weekdays, but not on weekends.

For all contact details, visit its website.

G.Network broadband speeds

Given that G.Network is all about faster full fibre connections, all its broadband speeds will deliver a stable connection and smooth online experience.

If you’re a light internet user or live in a small household, you may find its most basic 150Mbps plan suits you fine for everyday browsing and general use.

On the other end of the scale, if you live in a larger household or you plan on gaming, streaming and working from multiple devices, you may want to opt for the top speed of 900Mbps.

What’s good about G.Network broadband?

  • Fast speeds – Its full fibre network ensures a speedy and reliable connection
  • Good value plans – For the speeds you get, the prices you pay are very reasonable
  • No installation charges – While many providers charge one-off setup fees, G.Network doesn’t
  • Option of monthly contracts – If you don’t want to be tied to a long-term contract, G.Network is one of the few providers out there that offer monthly rolling contracts

What’s bad about G.Network broadband?

  • Longer than usual installation process – It takes a few weeks to plan and install your new connection
  • Only available in London – If you live outside the capital, you’ll need to look elsewhere for full fibre broadband
  • Limited customer service – There’s no helpline or web chat if you need live technical support, only email
