Knowsley Safari Park Vouchers
More than 40 years after opening its gates for the first time, Knowsley Safari Park remains one of the North West’s most popular attractions.
The 550-acre park on the Earl of Derby’s estate offers a wide range of exciting outdoor and indoor activities that provide a full day of fun for all ages, whatever the weather.
The jewel in the crown of any visit is Knowsley’s unique five-mile safari drive along roads lined with exotic animals from all over the globe.
This gives visitors the chance to get ‘up close and personal’ with rhinos, camels, buffalo, bison, wildebeest, lions, tigers, monkeys, deer, antelope, wallabies and - of course - Knowsley’s infamous baboons!
At Knowsley families also get a chance to get really close to elephants, giraffes, meerkats and otters in the walkaround area.
Other features around the safari village include an amusement park with a range of rides to suit all ages, and a woodland walk for when visitors want to stretch their legs a little.
The Bug House is also full of wonderful creepy crawlies, and the sea lion facility has
been upgraded and now has a larger outdoor pool and underwater viewing facilities.
Knowsley is also home to Aerial Extreme, the North West’s largest adventure ropes
course (additional cost applies).
Knowsley Safari Park first opened its gates to the public in July 1971 and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011. It is the only safari park in the North West and one of only five in the UK.
The park is open daily from the start of the school half-term holiday in February to the end of the October half-term week, and at weekends only during the winter,
