Sony Bruce Springsteen - Live 1975

Originally five records, now three CDs, this live collection is as long as an actual Springsteen show and covers material from his entire career, including a couple new songs and live staples never before released. The average complaint (aside from the length) is that the recordings are mostly all arena shows and not the intimate clubs where Springsteen cut his teeth. But there's no let-up in energy as Bruce and his incredibly big band (two keyboard players and a sax, man) trample through songs that were written as anthems in the first place ("Badlands," "Born to Run," "Born in the U.S.A."). --Rob O'Connor
