Thermos Flasks & Mugs

Thermos flasks are a great way to transport and store your favorite beverages. Because of the way they are designed, the contents are insulated better and will stay hot (or cold) for a longer period of time. This is a great way to save money by bringing along your own tea or coffee with you instead of over paying for it at a coffee shop.

Thermoses are able to keep their contents cooler or hotter because of the vacuum surrounding the container. The void between the container and the ambient temperature that surrounds the thermos acts as an insulator and keeps the contents at their desired temperature. The design of the thermos is so good that many laboratories use thermoses to store liquids below ambient temperature so they do not change form into a gaseous element.

Thermos flasks come in all sorts of great styles and colour patterns. Short and stout thermoses are great for storing meals, and smaller thermoses are great to keep spirits in on the go. The most popular style is probably the tall skinny thermos with a vacuum seal screw top that doubles as a nice little cup to pour your tea or other beverage in to.

Thermos flasks aren’t just for hot coffee or other beverages. You can store hot soup for lunch or dinner on the go or pasta for when you go camping. Some people even use their vacuum sealed thermos to cook simple meals like oatmeal or pastas. Thermoses are able to do this because of the amazing amount of heat retention they provide.
