Apple Laptops & Netbooks

Though their main competitors are PC computers, Apple laptops and netbooks are in a class of their own. They have a limited amount of products but the few designs available for Apple laptops are made to be durable and stylish.

Macbooks are the basic model of laptops produced by Apple. They are lower in price compared to the higher end laptop models but they still have many of the same features. They have a 13 inch display and a battery that can last up to ten hours. Macbooks also have a multi-touch glass trackpad that has a variety of commands for different computer tasks. The trackpad is capable of a two finger scroll and when two points of contact click the mouse button it becomes a shortcut for the apple click command.

The Macbook Pro is the top model of Apple laptops. It is designed for professional users and, therefore, has a large amount of disc space and memory. Apple laptops have a built in camera and microphone for web chat convenience and picture and video capture. Macs also come with preloaded software programs, such as iChat, iPhoto, and the Safari web browser.

For a lighter laptop, Apple provides the Macbook Air. Macbook Airs come in a 13 inch model and an 11 inch model. They are so light in weight that they could be considered Apple netbooks, but compared to a netbook, the Macbook Air is more powerful and has more features. The Macbook Air uses internal memory instead of a hard disc, allowing for a decrease in power usage and weight.
