The Triumph 5000 comes with a Smart Guide that functions as a clock until you switch the toothbrush on. Then the Smart Guide will time how long you’ve been brushing for. You can set it for two to three minutes and arrange for it to count elapsed time or remaining time. Most people don’t brush long enough to hit the recommended amount of time. While you’re brushing, the display on the Smart Guide darkens in certain sections, reminding you when it’s time to move to a different part of your mouth. When you reach your time goal, a smiley face appears on the screen. The brush itself uses 3D rotating technology to reach every nook in the mouth and the head completes about 8,800 rotations and 40,000 pulsations per minute.
