Rather than getting your kids the same old Christmas gifts each year, try something different this year. When I was growing up, I remember that I had a huge obsession with Lego. Whenever the opportunity for a gift presented itself, I always asked for Legos. I used to spend hours building all different kinds of things, including space ships, castles and my personal favourite the Star Wars Lego models. Not only are Legos a great time, but they are also educational and help develop fine mechanics and a sense of following directions. It also beats placing your child in front of the television set on Saturday afternoons.
When I was younger, there were not too many options available for Lego sets. One of the few Star Wars Legos that I remember was the Imperial Cruiser. Nowadays, there are tons of different Star Wars Lego sets available. With everything from Luke’s Landspeeder to the battle of Endor, there are a variety of different sets in terms of style and difficulty.
If you are as big of a Star Wars fan as I am, then you also might have seen the new video game that has been released. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is the newest title in a long line of games and it has managed to one-up its predecessor. With an in depth plot that’s much deeper than the films, this saga continues to allow for unique new battle experiences. In this release, instead of focusing on hand to hand combat, the emphasis has been shifted to the force; this allows you to perform some pretty wicked moves that this series has never seen before.
