This holiday, avoid the weather and catch up on the films that you might have missed during summer. Winter is a time for relaxing and huddling up on your couch with a good film and a cup of tea.

1. Bonded by Blood for him. This is a great action packed crime and gangster flick. Filled to the brim with violence, beautiful women and sharp dialogue this is the ultimate movie for any man. Based on the story of the Essex brothers, this film starts slow as you become familiar with the cast and of characters. It opens with their downfall and allows you to relive their journey to the top.
2. Sex and the City 2 for her. Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are back with Samantha for round two as they take some time in Abu Dabi. They are back at it with the relationship problems, work crisis and children in their terrible twos. Women raved about the show and the first film, so surely this will be on their watch list.
3. Shrek 3 Ever for the kids. Action packed gangster flicks and gossip are not exactly PG. For the kids, a big green loveable ogre and a chatterbox donkey might be appealing. With a cast of fun characters, including the once cute and cuddly Puss in boots and the decrepit gingerbread man all returning, this comedy will have you rolling out of your seat.
