New Cheap Video Games for PS3 Platinum Range

If you’re looking for cheap video games for the PS3 (and who isn’t if you own a Playstation?), Sony’s platinum range of games are a perfect way to stock up on the classics. This is also a good option for those of you who are clueless about video games but want to buy a good Christmas gift for a Playstation 3 owner this year.

Every game on the Platinum Range is required to have at least 400,000 units sold in PAL regions such as Europe, Australia, India, etc. (North America and Japan sales don’t really count) within a year’s time; so again, if you don’t know much about video games, the market is a good indicator of how enjoyable a game is (or how much money was put into marketing). The game prices are typically halved when put on the Platinum Range roster, so even if the market appeal may have lied, your wallet won’t feel extraordinary remorse.

Some of the recent titles added to the Platinum Range include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War and the latest instalment in the Tekken fighting game series. If, for some reason, you haven’t played World at War yet, there is nothing more fun than killing hoards of zombie Nazis.

Sadly, for all of you Kratos fans, God of War 3 isn’t on the Platinum Range yet, but there is the God of War collection. However, if you’re set on buying the third instalment in the series, you can probably find the cheapest God of War 3 for around £25 online at stores like Tescoentertainment.com.

About Jeffrey H.

Hi my name is Jeff Hughes. I grew up watching British TV (probably a little too young to have been watching Black Adder) and particularly enjoy watching Hugh Laurie on the screen. I studied British and American Literature at University but I wish I had been reading comic books the whole time. I enjoy pubs because I believe you can’t drink on an empty stomach. I also like cats.
