Best Electric Razors

Unless your profession involves wielding a large ax and yelling “timber!” at the top of your lungs, odds are your morning routine involves some sort of shaving ritual. While it’s hard to beat the closeness of the shave you get with a manual razor, many people prefer electric razors. Here are 3 of the best electric razors on the market, broken down by category.

Best Foil Shaver: Braun Series 7 – 760cc shaver
Hands down the best electric razor on the market. It features a foil shaving sytem, a self cleaning unit that doubles as a charger, oh and it delivers a closer shave with less irritation than leading competitors. This is achieved with its motor, which generates roughly 10,000 vibrations per minute.

The reason I picked the 760cc model over other Braun razors in the 7 series is the fact that you don’t need all the extra bells and whistles, such as speed cleaning and an LCD display, that come with the higher end models.

Best Wet/Dry Shaver: Panasanoic Vortex HydraClean
Not priced as steeply as the Braun, the Pansonic Vortex HydraClean delivers a very close shave, with minimal irritation. A positive is that you can use it dry, or with shaving cream. It also is capable of being used in the shower. A ncie touch, especially if you’re like me, and you favour carrying out most of your morning routine under the shower.

Best Rotary Shaver: Philips Norelco acitex 1050X
Philips Norelco garners attention as the best in the business, especially when it comes to electric shavers. The 1050X has very little as far as bells and whistles, but most importantly it has the famed and innovative Philips cutting system. Again, this model makes the cut, because you don’t need all the fancy gimmicks to get a good shave. Save your money, and stick with this entry model.
