If you are interested in investing in funds you can do this through a fund supermarket. They have a wide selection of funds to choose from and are often the cheapest way of investing in funds rather than going directly through the investment company.

Aviva Investors UK Fund Services Limited
Aviva offers a range of index tracker and actively managed funds that can be held within a stocks and shares ISA. You can alter the amount to pay into your fund if you choose to invest on a monthly basis, and stop investing at any time as long as the value of your account is at least £500.
HBOS Investment Fund Managers
HBOS offers a range of index tracker and actively managed funds run by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) which can be held within a stocks and shares ISA.
HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd
HSBC, one of the world's largest banks, offers a wide range of funds that can be held within a stocks and shares ISA through its investment arm, HSBC Global Asset Management. You can apply through HSBC's branches but the initial charge is reduced if you apply online.
Santander Asset Management (SAM UK)
Available via its branches, Santander offers a number of stocks and shares ISA options. Invest from just £25 a month, or £500 if you want to make a lump sum investment.
Scottish Widows Unit Trust Managers
Scottish Widows offers 12 funds which can be held in a stocks and shares ISA. These are managed by the Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and the minimum investment is £50 a month or £1,000 for a single lump sum.
The Co-Operative (CIS Unit Managers Ltd)
Well known for its ethical investment approach. It offers eight funds that can be held within a stocks & shares ISA.
Henderson Global Investors
Henderson Global Investors offers a wide chose of investment funds – unit trusts, open ended investment companies and investment trusts – which can be held within a stocks and shares ISA. The minimum investment is £100 if you’re investing on a monthly basis or £1,000 for lump sum investments.
