Orange customers not only benefit from perks such as Orange Wednesdays, but they can also now get 20MB broadband for just £5 a month.
What's more anyone who switches through MoneySupermarket will receive an Orange prepaid contactless card (which can be used like a debit card) with £40 loaded on to it.
Orange broadband is also available to non-mobile customers although they will pay a bit more. Read on to find out more...
What's the deal?
Offering speeds of up to 20MB this deal from Orange costs just £5 per month for 12 months for existing Orange customers or £10 per month for new customers.
If you are heavy user then this may be the product for you as Orange is giving you unlimited downloads with no extra cost involved. You don't have to pay a connection fee and Orange will provide you with a free wireless router that's worth £50.
Off-peak calls are also included in this package with unlimited evening and weekend landline calls, this also includes 0845 and 0870 numbers. Line rental is cheaper than BT's at £12.75 per month.
If you apply for the deal through MoneySupermarket you will receive an Orange pre-paid contactless card loaded with £40.
Prepaid cards can be used as an alternative to a debit or credit card, although similar to a pay-as-you-go mobile, you have to load money onto the card and can only spend up to that amount (although you can top the card up at any time).
Therefore, with this broadband offer, the £40 is similar to cashback - the money's just credited to a prepaid card as opposed to your bank account.

Any catches?
You must be an existing Orange customer if you want to benefit from paying just £5 per month. If you are an Orange pay-as-you go customer you must ensure that you have at least £1 in your 'Phone Fund' to benefit from the lower monthly price.
If during the 12 month contract period you choose to cancel your Orange mobile contract, you will forfeit the £5 per month discount and will revert to the non-Orange customer rate of £10 per month.
Orange states that its fastest download speed is 20MB however this will vary depending on line quality and the distance from your property to the nearest exchange, those who are in non-Orange broadband areas will receive speeds up to just 8MB.
Verdict
If you are an Orange customer then this is a market leading deal offering good speeds and unlimited usage. If you aren't an Orange customer and are looking for a cheap broadband deal then you may want to shop around first.
Primus broadband offers up to 24MB speeds for just £2.99 per month however if you are a heavy user you may be put off by the 20GB cap on downloads although this limit would be more than enough for a light to medium user.
For heavier users Primus offers unlimited downloads with up to 24MB speeds for £8.99 per month which is slightly cheaper than the non-Orange customer deal.
