The Vodafone 340 is the ultimate entry-level device from Vodafone – ideal as a first or spare phone whose job is simply to make and receive calls and texts. Its unapologetically basic feature set is reflected in an attractive price.

This monoblock handset is wonderfully retro with a 1.5-inch TFT colour display at 128 x 160 pixels. At 109.0 x 45.5 x 12.0 mm and weighing only 69g, it is a dual-band GSM phone, so a modicum of European use is potentially possible.
