Compare Vairy Touch lilac Deals

The Vairy Touch from T-Mobile is an easy to use touchscreen phone with modest ambitions – ideal as a first or spare phone. For instance, it offers a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 1 GB memory card for storing the resulting photos (which can also be exported wirelessly to a compatible device via Bluetooth short-range wireless data transfer) .

At 92.6 × 52.3 ×16 and weighing just 83.5g, Vairy Touch is a compact, lightweight device. The colour touchscreen takes up most of the front – you use either the in-house keyboard or handwrite via the provided stylus (the phone converts it into mobile text). This little pen has its own compartment to avoid it getting lost.

You can save your contacts either to the phone or the Sim and you can assign a picture to a contact or a sound. You search for a contact simply writing the name. You can also assign different ringtones to individual contacts.

There is an MP3 player, a video player and an FM radio with headphones provided. There is also a sound recorder and personal organiser functions, such as calendar and stopwatch.

It is a single-band phone and weighs just 84 grams. A novelty is the built-in webcam: connect the phone to a computer via USB and the phone works as a webcam. It also enables Web surfing via GPRS.
Battery life is rated at up to three hours’ talk time battery allows 3 hours of talktime or 180 hours on standby from a full charge (which, says T-Mobile, takes two hours).
