The Sony Ericsson Satio in dramatic black is a thing of beauty – a fully-featured smartphone packed with a breathtaking 12.1 megapixel camera, with Xenon flash, geo-tagging, up to 16 x digital zoom, image stabilizer, red eye reduction, touch focus and face and smile recognition, plus video mode.

The results are displayed on a 3.5-inch TFT 360 x 640 pixel touchscreen, offering landscape and portrait modes, with automatic switching between the two according to the phone's orientation.

Not forgetting that it is still a phone, the Satio is quad-band for global roaming with GPS, messaging options (SMS, MMS, email with attachment editing and viewing), plus “data tethering”and a virtual QWERTY keyboard . It offers 3G/HSDPA for fast internet interaction with the Web-kit Web browser (the same one used on Nokia smartphones, Android phones and the iPhone).
