Compare M8910 Pixon Deals

Samsung was the first to offer a mobile phone with optical zoom, the first mobile watch and now it breaks more new ground with its camera phone: the Samung Pixon 12 M8910 is a hefty title for the world’s first ever 12 megapixel camera phone. Results are displayed on a 3.1-inch touchscreen. This monster camera (in power, that is) has Xenon flash (far better than conventional LED flash), autofocus and a 28 mm lens.

But the quad-band Pixon 12 is geared for general business use, too, with Wifi for “hotspot” connection on the move and GPS satellite navigation. It also features Samsung’s TouchWiz interface for quick and easy navigation though the phone’s functions.

It also offers a music play supporting all the popular file formats, a video player and TV out option (you can connect the phone to a TV and view images and videos on the larger screen). It is full to bursting with connectivity options: 7.2Mbps HSDPA (backed up by EDGE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP as well as microUSB synchronisation.

Another example of Samsung’s r&d producing a high-quality, fully-featured product, although the battery life could be improved.
