Samsung’s J700i slider phone in eye-catching pink is compact and chunky, with dimensions of 99.5 x 48 x 14.8 mm, it is surprisingly light at 92g. The 2-inch colour screen can be viewed whether the slide is open or closed. A 1.3 megapixel camera is good for snapshots that can then be enhanced by on-board fun clip art and “emotion” stamps, and recording short video clips.
It offers a full range of messaging options (SMS, MMS and email). GPRS and the faster EDGE technologies support a built-in Web browser, enabling you to access the Web via the WAP browser (accessible via the main menu). Data transfer can either be via short-range wireless Bluetooth or cable connected USB.
