The Samsung Duos B5702 is a dual-SIM slider mobile phone with quad-band GSM connectivity, making it useable on “all continents.” Announced in Russia during April of 2009, the phone is one of only two quad-band dual-SIM phones currently on the market.

It is engineered primarily for serious business users who require maximum mobility and communications internationally. The dual-SIM feature means you can customize the phone in various ways: one SIM can be for personal calls, for example, while the other be exclusively for business calls. Alternatively, one SIM could be dedicated entirely for Internet use. Two LED lights show which SIM is in use at any one time.

Naturally, the B5702 is burgeoning with business functionality, including a document viewer, email, video recording, and support for a Bluetooth 2.1 wireless headset.

Internet connectivity is via GPRS/EDGE and a WAP 2.0 browser. There is a 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus and video and an FM radio, but this is a phone that has little time for entertainment. The usual clock, alarm, calculator, calendar, voice memo and handsfree make up the array of features in what is quite a chunky (108.0 x 52.5 x 17.4 mm) “means business” device.
