Compare N86 8MP White Deals

The Nokia N86 8MP dual-slide handset in scintillating white was Nokia’s first foray into the 8 megapixel camera game, combining the camera (with autofocus, dual-LED flash and AF assist light) with the familiar, nay, classic features of the proven N-series to deliver an attractive package for both business and entertainment enthusiasts.

It kicks in with a decent 8Gbytes’ internal memory and a microSD card slot with micro SDHC support for a further 16GB. The 2.6-inch OLED display with scratch-resistant surface and QVGA quality is excellent for displaying the camera’s results – a 28mm wide camera Carl Zeiss lens, variable aperture, mechanical shutter, geotagging, time-lapse, camera lens cover and VGA video recording at 30fps.

This quad-band GSM phone also has 3G with HSDPA for fast internet (the Web browser has Flash and Java support), Wifi with UpNP technology, stereo Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Built-in GPS comes with a voice-guided navigation package and Ovi Maps.

The N86 has an accelerometer for auto-rotation of the interface when you turn the device, plus a standard 3.5mm headphone jack: you can use your own set, including wireless. An FM transmitter enables audio to play through the car or home stereo as an alternative to the in-built stereo speakers.

Chunky and possible heavy for some tastes, the N86 is undoubtedly a remarkably equipped device.
