Compare E60 Deals

The Nokia E60 means business, pure and simple. There is no camera or embedded games: it’s a serious device, with a wealth of “business” functionality. Tri-band for international roaming potential, it relies on GPRS/EDGE and WAP 2.0 browser for its Web connectivity, with SMS, SMS and email available as messaging options. On the move, it is Wi-fi enabled for hotspot and WLAN working, with infrared and Bluetooth for short-range wireless data transfer, plus USB.

At 115 x 49 x 17mm it is a standard size for a proven design Nokia monoblock and the 117g is par for the course. The colour display is high resolution (352 x 416 pixels) with a useful zoom function

Utilities include integrated speakerphone, vibration alert, voice commands and voice recorder, plus push-to-talk and a document viewer for viewing Office documents and email attachments. You can, theoretically, make (free) VoIP calls via the WLAN connection.

A novelty is Talking Caller ID, which speaks the name of an incoming caller as part of the ringtone (if it is in your phonebook) – fortunately, this can be turned off as well as on.

Internal memory is 64 Mbytes that can be boosted with a memory card. Battery life is rated at 2.3 hours of talk time and 240 hours on standby.
