Compare E52 black Deals

The Nokia E52 solid bar phone in dramatic black lives up to Nokia’s own description of it as a “fully loaded slender smartphone” with business users in mind. It is very compact and astonishingly thin: 116 x 49 x 9.9 mm and weighing only 98g.

It harnesses the full power of 3G/HSDPA – the fastest mobile internet technology available - and there is a full range of messaging options: SMS, MMS and email, with Nokia Messaging guiding the process, plus Mail for Exchange and Lotus Notes Traveller. It comes with A-GPS satellite navigation functionality and, possibly simply because it is possible, a compass.

A quad-band phone with 3G, a 3 megapixel camera with flash and a 2.4-inch QVGA display, it includes Mobile VPN, which allows easy (authorised) access to corporate intranets and Wi-fi among its wireless options. The E52 also includes Call Connect support that helps integrate Nokia phones with corporate telephone systems: this reduces call routing, since a single contact number only is needed to communicate.

With 60 Mbytes’ internal memory and a 1GB microSD card included (with capacity for more), the E52 ticks almost al the boxes, from first-class media player and FM radio with RDS to acceleromter for screen auto-rotation and a plethora of personal organiser functions.

The battery life is rated at an excellent eight hours’ talk time with over 25 days on standby from a full charge.
