The stylish, stainless steel Nokia 6300 is a small but feature-rich package – an ideal entry-level handset. It is only 11.7 mm thick and weighs only 94 g, but offers a 2-inch (31 x 42 mm) 16 million TFT colour QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) display, a 2 megapixel camera with zoom, expandable memory, integral MP3 player and FM radio.

It has a 64-tone polyphonic ringtone, with a silent alarm option. All keys are lit in blue, delivering clear visibility in all but the most unusual environments, with up to nine text lines in the display and three service lines, depending on the chosen font size. The right hand side houses dedicated volume keys, doubling as the camera’s zoom button. The 6300 text message in-box can be set automatically to be overwrite old messages with new incoming texts, rather than miss any.

Battery life on full charge (it takes under two hours to charge from zero to full) is around 3.5 hours talk-time and up to 330 hours on standby from a full charge.
