Compare KS360 Etna black Deals
The LG KS360 (sometimes called the Etna) in dramatic black is a text-er’s phone through and through, with its slide-out full QWERTY keypad normally found on business phones like Blackberrys. Smaller than an iPhone, though quite chunky at 17mm thick and 112g in weight, here we have a pay-as-you-go phone with a virtual touchscreen and geared up for texting. A “threaded SMS” feature is an inventive way of having text conversations and there is a full range of emoticons to liven them up. The QWERTY keypad is also a good platform for mobile email.
You can dial directly from the touchscreen without having to open up the slide (used mostly for text/emails) and there is a full range of conventional buttons if the touchscreen proves not to be your “thing”.
The KS360 has a 2.4-inch display with excellent resolution and also offers a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in music player supports MP3 and AAC formats and an FM radio. There is 15 Mbytes of built-in memory with a microSD memory card slot up to 4 GB: enough to store around 1,000 MP3 tracks.
A tri-band phone, the KS360 has SMS, EMS, MMS and Instant Messaging capabilities, plus email. Battery life is rated at five hours’ talk time and 444 hours on standby from a full charge.
