Nokia Finally reveal their best phone yet – the N9.

The N9 made its official debut, after much speculation in the press in 2010, at Nokia Connection in Singapore and boy as it made an impression!

The beautiful handset couldn’t be any sleeker, with a complete lack of buttons users can navigate their way through the device on the impressive 3.9 inch curved touchscreen by swiping, tapping and pinching.

The Nokia N9 isn’t just a pretty face; it is the first smartphone to run on the MeeGo operating system which basically makes the phone a pleasure to use. The homescreen can be accessed at any time by swiping either side of the display and the cleverly designed user interface makes it simple to get to your desired app with ease.

Other high end features include the 8 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera to ensure your images are among the best from a mobile phone device along with HD video recording with stereo sound.  The N9 comes with memory options of 16GB and 64GB so if you do plan on taking a fair amount of photos and videos you will be covered.

For those who love their gaming, Angry Birds Magic, Galaxy on Fire 2 and Real Golf 2011 are all included which is boosted by built in Dolby Digital Plus and support for Dolby headphones. Not only that, the device features the latest version of Ovi Maps with free turn-by-turn navigation making it a very rounded device.  The innovative device is also prepared for contactless payments with an NFC chip built in, we’ll keep you updated on this when the phone is released and NFC becomes more prominent for mobile users.

The N9 will be available in three colours, black, pink and blue and we can’t wait to get our hands on it!  There is no word on pricing just yet or an official release date but we expect it to hit the shelves in the autumn. Rest assured we’ll keep you posted on a release date as soon as we know so you can get your hands on this stunning device.
